Yes, churches are made up of people ...so this is much a people problem.

There are good things that draw us ...and there are problematic enticements.  One of my family members was going to school ...and there was a difficult and important test coming up.  This family member was asked  by other students, if she was on drugs.  Of course, she admitted, "No."  They asked, how is it that she is always so calm, and relaxed ...and seems able to retain information so well.

No, we don't need drugs, hollow promotions, or promised pretenses ...we have much confidence in the way of truth.  And we have genuine strength of purpose with the Holy Spirit ...not for lifting ourselves up above, but for guiding us down here on earth, & to help guide others here on earth.
